Get Involved!

We welcome your help and support in any way, shape or form!

Come to a gig or performance

Perhaps the best and easiest way of helping and encouraging our youngsters is just to support them by coming along to one of our many Cream Tees gigs or Teesdale Longsword dance performances.

Become a Friend

If you have a little more time on your hands and are able to offer some more specific help — anything from taking some photographs, making some scones (and providing the jam and cream of course!) for refreshments at one of our workshop sessions, or meeting and offering a lift from Darlington station for one of our tutors, to leading a session if you are a musician or writing an article for our Newsletter — then become a Friend of M@HoT!

Help needed

If you are a volunteer with a specific skill looking for a role, we can offer you the opportunity to gain experience by helping with our promotion and publicity work. So if, for example, you are well skilled in social media and actually would enjoy and be good at keeping our Facebook page alive and active, or would like to lend a hand to pull the next copy of our newsletter together, we would love to hear from you!

Get in touch with Neil Diment, M@HoT project co-ordinator:

M@HoT does not receive any core funding for its work. We rely on financial support to help us keep going, so any donation, large or small, to continue our work and maintain the success we have achieved to date with both Cream Tees and our Longsword dancers is very much appreciated.

We are very grateful to those who have already donated or continue to donate towards our work.

Again, please contact Neil Diment, M@HoT project co-ordinator, in the first instance for ideas of specific support required or what you might like your donation to be used for. Thank you.

To try to ensure that our work becomes more sustainable in the future and not solely reliant on grants and funding applications, M@HoT has started to approach local companies for their sponsorship and support.

If your company would like to discuss the various ways your company can help by sponsoring us, please contact Patrick Langdon, M@HoT’s project co-ordinator:
